                                          Wells Ms. Wild Fire 1137

                                          Picture
Wells Ms. Wild Fire 1137 is a Firewater X Fargo. Wild Fire is one of many Fargo daughters that is going to be an outstanding mama cow. Wild Fire is one of only a few Fargo daughters we have let go. Her mother 7037 has been an oustanding producer for our herd. Letting Wild Fire go was not easy for us. We are confident she will make Jerry proud.

Jerry Malby of Broken Box Ranch.

Jerry Maltby of Broken Box Ranch was the proud purchaser of Wells Ms. Wild Fire at the American Royal's 2011 Ten grand sale. We are always excited to have our cattle go to new buyers. We are happy to be able to announce Jerry as part of the Wells Charolais breeding program.
Savannah was given the opportunity to show Wild Fire after the sale. Savannah and Wild Fire placed 4th out of 7 in their class. Congratulations to both girls.

                                          Wells Ms. Cherry Bomb 0446

                                          Picture
Cherry Bomb is loaded with color, style, and performance. Her grand dam 156 is still producing today, with one of her sons
commanding $5,000 at our Annual Bull Sale. 664 has followed her footsteps as well, with a full sister to Cherry Bomb commanding $3,000 in the Dakota Charolais Classic 2009.

Red Smoke, sire of Cherry Bomb, was the 2007 South Dakota State Fair Supreme Champion and the 2007 American Royal Reserve Champion. His sons have averaged over $4,000 in our annual bull sales.

Cherry Bomb was the 2nd high selling heifer in the 2010 Dakota Charolais Classic at $4,000 going to Sever and Sons.
She proceeded to Denver, where she stood 2nd in her class next to the Division Champion.

After Cherry Bomb was brought home we received a call from Rodney Trowbridge wanting to buy Cherry Bomb. Rodney purchased 1/3 interest in Cherry Bomb for Courtney to show. Courtney has done a fabulous job with Cherry Bomb.

                                          Courtney Gilliam

                                          Courtney,
Congratulations on having the high point charolais heifer at the 2011 Kentucky Proud Points banquet sponsored by the Kentucky Department of Agriculture. This is quite an accomplishment.

All of your hard work with this great heifer has paid off. You did an excellent job in preparing her for the
show ring and she looked great every time she was exhibited. The heifer·is a great representative of the charolais breed and
                                          will make a great cow.

Thank you for your participation in our junior livestock program and good luck with your future endeavors.

                                          Thank you,

                                          Picture
This red female commanded $2,500 for one-half interest and no possession to Monty Sever in fall 2009. She then went on to excel in the show ring, up and down the road with Andrew Odden. The first heifer from Red Hot Mama’s dam sold to Spencer Shrader in 2008 for $2,400. A full brother was born 5-1-10, had the highest WDA of 4.4 lbs. while residing at Yackley’s TransOva Center, and weaned off to an adjusted weight of 850 lbs. He then went on to become the highest selling Red Smoke bull in our 2011 bull sale. Red Hot Mama  gave birth on Feb. 6th, 2011 to a heifer weighing in at 94 out of "Fargo".

Krystal placed 1st in her class then went on to take Reserve Grand Champion. Not a bad start for both girls being in the ring for the first time. Krystal had a very competitive summer competing against Mustang Sally and Sophie. Krystal gave birth on Feb. 5th, 2011 to a bull out of "Fargo"
